Third Level, “Year Two”
To calculate third-level groups originating from 2-A, 2-B, and 2-C during the second “year”, we need to remember that there are actually two sub-groups of 2-A, two sub-groups of 2-B, and two sub-groups of 2-C: Those originating in the first “year” and those originating in the second “year”.
The populations of the third-level groups originating in the second “year” are a total of the numbers in a previous table and those coming from the second-level groups which originated in the first “year”. These sums will be the populations of the third-level groups which originated during the second “year”.
